Hello! I'm Dominic Pagliaro - welcome to my website! I'm an actor, singer, dancer, and composer/lyricist (as the website header says!)
I was born in Baltimore, Maryland, then lived in England for a bit (4 years total) before moving back to the states to Sandy Hook, Connecticut. I started performing as early as age 3 when my parents caught me singing along to the soundtrack of Shrek from underneath the dining room table...Needless to say, we've come a long way since then! I recently finished up my time studying at Indiana University and graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre, an Independent Minor in Musical Theatre Composition, and with Highest Distinction.
I have experience performing in musicals, plays, and cabarets, as well as experience on the technical and production sides of theatre through my employment at IU Theatre's Scenic Studio (undergraduate carpenter, 2017-2020) and through my involvement with The University Players, IU's student-run theatre company (Assistant Technical Director, 2017-19, and Technical Director 2019-20).
When I'm not doing something theatre-related, you'll typically find me cooking, reading, writing music, watching hockey (Go Leafs Go!), or playing video games. I work as a professional Bartender, Bar Manager, and Independent Handyman Contractor.
And, to get to know me even better, here are some of my goals and things I plan on accomplishing in my career as a performer:
Portraying Phantom on Broadway (It'd be awesome to do Raoul first though!)
Having a recurring role on a network TV fantasy/historical drama (@Netflix, please cast me in The Witcher. Thanks!)
Get to portray as many antagonists in the musical theatre cannon as possible, including but not limited to: Sweeney Todd, Dracula, Jekyll/Hyde, Javert, Billy Flynn, and Frollo (the list goes on).
Writing a few musicals/song cycles and getting a New York Premiere of them, or a concert at 54 Below.
Make lifelong friends and memories along the way.
